Dirt Bike Adventurer - Racer - 24 Hour Ironman - Tour of Idaho Finisher

I started racing dirt bikes in 2010, but have found a true love for ultra endurance events such as 24 hour ironman racing. I am a regional champion and have competed in and finished 2nd in two of the largest 24 hour off road races in the world. In 2014, I placed 2nd at the 24 Hours of Starvation Ridge, and in 2018 at the Glen Helen 24 Hour Endurance Challenge, both in the Ironmen’s division.

In 2019, I became the first woman to finish the Tour of Idaho T1 Challenge, a nearly 2000 mile offroad adventure challenge which requires participants to self support and self navigate over a predetermined route from the southern to the northern border of Idaho in 10 days. In the 14 years the event has happened, only 69 people have finished, and I became the first woman to earn the honor of receiving an official finisher number.I enjoy technically difficult terrain and always strive to find adventure every time I throw my leg over a bike.

Before transitioning to dirt bike racing I was a professional downhill mountain bike racer, competing on the NORBA National Series with a UCI classification. When I’m not riding around the PNW and coming up with new adventures and race challenges for myself, I’m a full time faculty research professional at Oregon State University. I manage a research aquaculture facility that utilizes a small fish as a model to investigate human diseases and health concerns.
